SOUND AND LIGHT SHOW 2019
‘JOAN OF ARC, A MIGHTY SOUL’
The city’s sound and light show was all set to wow crowds during this free one-hour spectacle running summer 2019 from 30 May to 31 August.
The sound and light show was projected onto Orleans Cathedral on Place Sainte-Croix from Tuesday through Saturday at 11 pm every evening.
The Cathedral façade had become an impressive and stunning backdrop to the city’s celebration of the universal and heroic figure of Joan of Arc.
The ‘Joan of Arc, a mighty soul’ show was followed by a sound and light spectacular devised by students at Gobelins visual communications school in Paris as part of the Renaissance's 500th anniversary programme.
